Perfect for date night, a family outing or just a fun evening with friends - Public Skate sessions are ideal for all ages and ability levels. Skate rentals are available and sessions are scheduled throughout the week. Find a full schedule here.

The Oval also has fantastic opportunities for kids and adults to get active on the “Fastest Ice on Earth."

The Learn to Skate program features classes for all ages and abilities Tuesdays and Thursdays to learn from experienced instructors the balance and coordination needed to glide on the ice. Sign up now for Learn to Skate sessions starting on July 13 and 15.

The Oval also offers youth hockey programs to teach kids the fundamentals of the sport in a safe, fun environment. The Hockey Skating Skills and Learn to Play Hockey classes are perfect for beginners to learn how to maneuver faster and be more agile on the ice. Summer sessions are available starting July 13 and 15.

If you have a "need for speed," want to race on the ice or just want a fun way to get and stay fit, the Learn to Speed Skate Program is the perfect place for you. In the program, you will learn proper speed skating technique. The new Intro to Speed Skating and Learn to Speed Skate classes start July 13 and 15.

For an entirely unique experience, the Oval offers curling classes with the same stones used during the 2002 Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games! Learn to Curl classes are held every Tuesday in July and throughout the summer - teaching the fundamentals including proper stone delivery, sweeping and basic strategy.

Masks or face shields are optional in the facility. Wearing a mask or a face shield is recommended for non-vaccinated guests.
